November 30th is Giving Tuesday
We are grateful for the many ways in which our community enjoys a “new normal”. Our library – the cultural, informational and entertainment center of our town – has been able to reopen on a limited basis.
Our library offers many interesting programs using online resources. Now you can borrow mobile hot spots so you can bring the programs and other library resources with you no matter where you are. These library resources are made possible through your donations to the Friends of the Library and the Library Foundation.
You can support our library by clicking HERE. You can donate any amount through PayPal (including sending credit or debit card donations) or by mailing a check. Checks can be mailed to the Friends of the Somers Library, PO Box 443, Somers, 10589. Please mark donations with “Giving Tuesday”.
All money collected through Giving Tuesday will be divided evenly between the Friends of the Somers Library and the Somers Library Foundation and all donations are tax deductible.
You may also want to participate in the Amazon Smile program where 0.5% of all your Amazon purchases will be donated to the supporting organization of your choice.
Whatever amount you are able to give will make a huge difference to the library and to our community.
