The Somers Library Foundation (“Foundation”) upholds the privacy and confidentiality of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, and others who interact with our website, receive our mailings (postal and electronic), and participate in our activities.
We never sell these personal contact details. In some cases we do need to share these contact details with third parties who provide services to the Foundation and help us support the Library but we ensure that these third parties do not use the contact details beyond that which is necessary to provide the services to the Foundation.

We take reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to protect the integrity and security of Personal Information that we collect and maintain. We collect and maintain contact details whenever you submit comments on the website, send emails, leave phone mail messages, volunteer, make donations, participate in activities, such as the 5K Trail Run, or subscribe to our mailing list. We use this information to stay in touch and provide updates on the Foundation.
Online donations made to the Foundation use PayPal and are subject to the PayPal privacy policies available on the donation website. The Foundation does not collect nor maintain any credit card or other financial account details of our donors. Contact and purchase details associated with donations to the Foundation through Field Goods and Amazon Smile are not shared with the Foundation.
Certain services used by the Somers Library Foundation are provided by third-party publishers and vendors that may collect personal data and use it according to their respective policies. The Foundation does its best to ensure that any such personal data is not used beyond the scope of providing and maintaining the services for the Foundation.
