The Somers Library Foundation’s Eleventh Annual 5K Trail Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Run are scheduled for Sunday, October 15, 2023.

We had a great weather and had such a great turn out for the race last year that we are excited to once again host the 5K at Reis Park in October.

Past trail runs have helped the Foundation raise more than $12,000 per year for much needed library projects.  This is thanks to to the generous support of our local families and community-minded businesses who love our library.  The monies raised through the race  fund fund a variety of projects that will improve the accessibility of our library services and make the best use of our library facilities to serve our changing needs.

Come join us in Reis Park on Sunday, 15 October as a runner, participant, sponsor, or volunteer and support our library.
